Design & Print Your Very Own 3D Model!

Learn all about Computer Aided Design (CAD) and 3D Printing in our online workshops this July. Meet the experts and work with 3D printing software to design your very own 3D printed object that you can take home.

Designed for students between the ages of 11 and 17 years, participants will be encouraged to define their own object — design a vase, sculpture, toy, special character… the limit is your imagination!

The workshop is being run as two separate sessions with students invited to sign up for either the 2nd of July or the 3rd of July session.

  • Where: Online – students work from home and are taught via live remote instruction
  • When: 2nd of July from 9am to 3pm or 3rd of July from 9am to 3pm
  • Age Group: 11 to 15 years
  • Requirements: Participants will need access to their own laptop for the duration of the workshop and will also be required to download free online CAD software
  • Registration Fee: Registration is $25 CI per student and includes all workshop materials
  • Availability: Spaces are limited to 25 students per session on a first come first served basis

Once registered, you will receive a link to the required free software for the course no later than 3 days before the session start date as well as a link to the online class session. Payment and registration are due no later than Monday, 27 June 2022.
