Practical Applications for Cayman Businesses

Wednesday, 4 March 2026 • Signal House off Fairbanks Road • 5:30pm Doors Open • Free Admission
with Alexander Powell and Adonai Rochez

This session introduces AI not as a distant or overly technical concept, but as a practical engine for real business growth. Participants will learn how artificial intelligence is already being used to create new income streams, launch innovative business models, and gain competitive advantages across everyday industries. The discussion is grounded in real world examples from tourism, restaurants, supermarkets, finance, and insurance, with a strong focus on how young people can realistically apply AI today rather than years in the future. The session is designed to shift mindsets from seeing AI as a tool for large corporations to recognizing it as a powerful opportunity to build value, businesses, and careers.

Key Workshop Takeaways:
  • Understand how AI creates new revenue opportunities rather than simply replacing jobs.
  • Learn how AI driven business models work in industries that are highly relevant to the Cayman Islands.
  • Gain clarity on how AI can be used to start ventures, optimize existing businesses, or stand out in the workforce.
  • Leave with practical ideas they can immediately explore or develop further.
