CyberSandbox - Capture the Flag (CTF) Prep Session

In this first preparation session for the Capture the Flag (CTF) competition set for Saturday, 14 November 2026, participants will learn how CTF challenges work, explore common problem-solving techniques, and build confidence in approaching cybersecurity and coding tasks. Through guided practical exercises, attendees will be introduced to areas such as code analysis, logical challenge solving, and identifying clues within systems and applications. The session is designed to help participants develop the mindset and foundational skills needed to tackle challenges step by step in a supportive, hands-on environment.
This session is ideal for those looking to boost their comfort and knowledge in the field of Cybersecurity.
Participants will need to bring a laptop device for practical exercises.

- Rudolf Coetzee is the CyberSecurity Director of Intelligence, Violet Sky Security SEZC
- David Colebatch is the CEO and Founder of Tidal, specialising in digital transformation, cloud migration and enterprise modernisation.
