He’ll also introduce StageX — a next-generation Linux distribution used by companies like Talos Linux, SUI, and Turnkey.io — and explain how it helps reduce attack surfaces in real-world systems. This session is great for anyone interested in building more secure and trustworthy Linux-based infrastructure.

  • Anton Livaja is the Co-Founder and Security Engineer at Distrust, a security consultancy and open-source R&D firm. Dedicated to advancing individual freedom, security, and privacy worldwide, Anton focuses on strengthening decentralised technologies and building open-source source software that addresses today’s critical security challenges. His expertise spans applied cryptography, supply chain security, secure system design, threat modellingling, penetration testing, and secure code review. Anton is currently leading development efforts on projects like StageX, AirgapOS, and EnclaveOS, which enhance the resilience of mission-critical infrastructure. Through Distrust, he is committed to helping organisations design "reasonably secure" systems by applying first-principles thinking and rigorous engineering standards.
