Join us for an engaging CyberSandbox workshop that explores the inner workings of a Personal Computer's (PC) Architecture. This hands-on session will offer participants the opportunity to learn about the key components that make up a personal computer, with a focus on understanding the hardware that powers modern computing.

In this immersive workshop, participants will learn how to install a hard drive, gaining practical experience in assembling and upgrading PC systems. The session will provide an overview of the critical parts of a PC, including the motherboard, CPU, memory, storage, and other essential elements, explaining their roles and how they interact.

Whether you're a tech enthusiast or someone new to PC hardware, this workshop offers valuable insights into the architecture behind personal computers. Join us to gain the knowledge and skills needed to understand and work with the technology that drives so many of today's digital innovations.

About Instructors

• Alee Fa’amoe is the Chief Technology Officer at Cayman Enterprise City. Alee has over 25 years' experience in the technology & telecommunications sectors as an engineer, consultant, and a regulator. His previous roles include COO of Deloitte Cayman Islands, Regional VP Broadband for Cable & Wireless Caribbean, Deputy CEO and Executive Director ICT of the Cayman Islands communications regulator, Government Representative to the United Arab Emirates, and the team leader for the Cayman Islands Government’s presence at the World Expo 2020 in Dubai. He also serves on the boards of several charities and non-profit entities such as Enterprise Cayman, Meals on Wheels, and Digital Cayman.
• Alex Fa'amoe has recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science from the University of Sussex. In September, Alex will start working as a Technology Consultant at Ernst & Young Global (EY).
