PC Restorations for Charity

Wednesday, 25 June 2025 • Signal House off Fairbanks Road • 5:30pm Doors Open • Free Admission
with Alee Fa'amoe, Chief Technology Officer at Cayman Enterprise City (CEC)

In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn how to refurbish old PCs by installing new hard drives, setting up fresh Windows operating systems, and running tests to ensure everything runs smoothly. You'll gain practical experience in basic computer hardware restoration — ideal for anyone curious about IT, hardware, or sustainable tech solutions.

The best machines will be donated to local after-school charity programmes for use by primary school students. Devices that can’t be revived will be responsibly repurposed in collaboration with the RCIPS and the Gun Club. No technical experience needed — just bring your curiosity and a willingness to dive in.
