  • Baltasar Aroso, Moderator
    Baltasar is a Lead Full Stack Engineer and Co-Founder of BitFashioned SEZC, with expertise in Computer Science and Machine Learning. He has been pivotal in various engineering projects, including the research and development of a unique consensus algorithm for blockchain platforms. He skillfully bridges the gap between intricate web3 concepts and user experience across diverse L1 blockchains. Currently, he's deeply engaged with LAMINA1's identity project for the open metaverse, focusing on user identity protocols for secure and easy virtual interactions.
  • Ian Tibbetts, Panelist
    Ian joined the Civil Service in December 2014 to lead the development and implementation of the Cayman Islands eGovernment strategy. His passions include creating and leading highly innovative and effective teams to ensure the Government delivers the digital infrastructure and solutions it needs to underpin the Cayman Islands' digital economy. Ian was previously the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Cable and Wireless’ Cayman Islands business, and Vice President of Customer Experience for its Caribbean operations. Ian’s educational background is primarily in Electronics and Electrical Engineering.
