The Programme & Events Assistant will provide essential administrative, operational, and logistical support for the successful delivery of Enterprise Cayman’s programmes, workshops, events, and community initiatives. Working closely with the Programme Manager, this role is pivotal in ensuring efficient coordination of activities and clear communication with participants, mentors, stakeholders, and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Programme Coordination

  • Support the implementation of Enterprise Cayman’s key programmes (Business Design Competition, Internship Programme, CyberSandbox, Launch Labs Studios, Tech Trainings, Incubator, etc.).
  • Manage application tracking, participant records, and onboarding communications.
  • Schedule sessions, mentorship meetings, and feedback calls.
  • Update programme calendars and maintain documentation in shared drives.

Event Support

  • Assist with event planning, setup, and logistics (venue bookings, catering, signage, materials, etc.).
  • Coordinate registration and RSVPs.
  • Attend events to support smooth delivery, capture insights, and assist with onsite troubleshooting.

Feedback & Reporting

  • Support the collection and collation of participant, mentor, and stakeholder feedback.
  • Assist with drafting post-event and post-programme reports and summaries.
  • Track engagement and impact metrics for internal reporting.
  • Help maintain contact with programme alumni to gather updates and support long-term impact tracking.

Administrative & Communications Support

  • Maintain and update databases, trackers, and internal spreadsheets.
  • Draft participant communications, reminders, and updates.
  • Liaise with marketing team for collateral and event promotions and outreach (under direction of Manager).

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Support communications with mentors, facilitators, and partners (email drafting, calendar invites, follow-ups).
  • Ensure smooth logistics and communications for mentor/experts Open Door Days.
  • Assist with sponsor engagement efforts, including event invitations, updates, and follow-up communications.
  • Support delivery of sponsor benefits as outlined in agreements (e.g., visibility, branding, recognition).

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Clear, professional communication (written and verbal).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using tools like Microsoft Office, Teams/Zoom, Canva, HubSpot, or Monday.com.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and solution-oriented.
  • Experience in events, education, or programme delivery is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–2 years in a coordination or administrative role (internship experience counts!).
  • Passion for community engagement, entrepreneurship, or non-profit initiatives is an asset.
