Procurement Officer (Cayman Islands, Full Time)
Job Description
Location: Cayman Islands - On Site
Salary: US$2,500.00 negotiable
Harris Paints is a regional group of companies which manufactures, distributes, and retails
paint, accessories, and high-performance coatings across the region. Its subsidiary
company, Industrial Supplies Cayman SEZC is a Procurement and Export Sales company
which services the Harris Group of Companies across the Caribbean.
Your role
We are seeking to engage a professional who is customer centric and analytical to support
the Procurement related activities across the Group. This position will be based in the
Cayman Islands. Only resumes from Caymanian residents or nationals will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as necessary to maintain optimal stock levels
- Coordinate with the Finance department to ensure timely payments to suppliers and
resolve invoice discrepancies. - Maintain and update the procurement database, ensuring all vendor information,
purchase records and other related procurement matters are current. - Organize and file procurement documents, such as contracts and purchase orders, for
audit and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of supply chain systems, customer service processes and related
business modules would be an asset. - High level of interpersonal and communication skills.
- Sound Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Passion for excellence with a “can do” attitude.
- Knowledge and experience of working in the Paint industry.
- Open to learning and innovation with a growth mindset.
- Enthusiastic, with a readiness to champion best practices to meet challenges in a fastpaced environment.
Qualifications/Experiences
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business / Administration or related field, with at least 2 years’
experience in a similar role.
OR - Three (3) A’ Level passes including Business or a Diploma / Associate’s Degree in Business
/ Administration with at least 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
