Job Purpose
The Administrative Services Officer will serve as the primary point of contact for admissions, guiding families through the application process, coordinating appointments, liaising with the Finance Department regarding fees, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date student records. The role also provides vital support to the HR Manager, assisting with document management, work permits, teaching licenses, and other related areas.
Job Dimensions
Key responsibilities include preparing transcripts, attendance letters, and certificates; liaising with government departments for audits, scholarship documentation, and ensuring compliance with data reporting requirements. The role involves coordinating with internal departments to support admissions and student record management, as well as working closely with the HR Manager on administrative and compliance tasks to ensure the school’s operational efficiency and adherence to regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Human Resource Management or related area
- At least five years of working experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational or professional services environment.
- Proven ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Familiarity with general HR administrative support, including document tracking and compliance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel and Publisher
- Excellent interpersonal skills and professional communication style.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, attention to detail, accuracy, integrity and the ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information are key qualities required for the position.
