We are investing in Cayman’s youth and sponsoring meaningful STEM initiatives with a view to encouraging greater interest in mathematics, science and information technology from a young age. We have launched programmes with UCCI, CIMPA, Gamers Bay, CYDEC and many more. Check out the below programmes and contact us if you would like to know more.

The Rotary Central’s Science Fair is an annual event designed to foster students’ interest in science and technology, the scientific method of analysis and problem solving, giving participants the opportunity to experience the sense of accomplishment and discovery in researching, preparing, and presenting a science project.
Financially supported by Enterprise Cayman and other sponsors, the Science Fair has grown exponentially in popularity over the years. Special Economic Zone community members partake every year by presenting at the awards ceremony.
Whether it’s through hands-on demonstrations, special events, or engaging workshops, we passionately believe that exposure to new ideas and technologies will inspire you to explore future career opportunities and provide a snapshot of working life in the special economic zones.
Previous workshops include; build your own drone, game design, create your own website and 3D printing with the use of virtual reality.
Find out about our multiple workshops throughout the year by visiting our Workshops and Events page.
By working with our partners, we will continue to look for ways to increase student interest and aptitude in STEM learning.
We believe that a deeper connection will broaden participation from schools and the local community, inspiring a more diverse STEM talent pool, which will in turn grow Cayman’s ingenuity and innovation.
