Shifting US landscape; DATs and market trends; the rise of tokenised RWAs and other Cayman legal developments
Thursday, 6 November 2025 • Signal House off Fairbanks Road • 5:30pm Doors Open • 6:00pm Discussion Starts
As the digital asset ecosystem matures, 2025 is shaping up to be a landmark year for crypto innovation, consolidation, and regulation. This session brings together industry leaders, legal experts, and strategic thinkers to unpack the forces reshaping the crypto landscape, from record-breaking M&A activity and the rise of digital asset treasuries, to evolving legal frameworks in the US and Cayman Islands.
This session will explore:
- US Legal Shifts & Cayman Impact: Learn about DUNAs and how they compare to Cayman’s foundation companies. From the GENIUS Act to the Clarity Act, we’ll also assess how evolving US legislation could influence the Cayman crypto market.
- Digital Asset Treasuries (DATs): Discover how public companies are leveraging DATs, the emerging risks, and the strategic implications for treasury management in a tokenised world.
- M&A Momentum: A record-breaking Q1 saw seven deals over USD 100M. We'll examine the drivers behind this surge, the rise of vertical integration, and what it means for DeFi and protocol consolidation.
- Cayman Legal Round-Up: Get the latest on tokenised funds, RWAs, and the VASP licensing regime. We’ll also cover ongoing consultations around the Mutual Funds Act and potential amendments to the Virtual Asset (Service Providers) Act.
Whether you're a founder, investor, regulator, or strategist, this session offers a panoramic view of the crypto future and the legal and financial frameworks that will shape it.
