  • Thomas (Tom) Jenkins, Executive Chair at OpenText
    Tom Jenkins is Chair of the Board of OpenText, where he has played a defining role in the company’s growth and evolution, serving previously as President, CEO, and Chief Strategy Officer. With decades of board-level experience, he has also held directorships at Manulife Financial Corporation, Thomson Reuters Inc., and TransAlta Corporation. Beyond the corporate sphere, he contributes to global policy and innovation as Chair of the World Wide Web Foundation and as a Commissioner of the Trilateral Commission. A former Chancellor of the University of Waterloo and Chair of the National Research Council of Canada, he brings a rare blend of business leadership and public service. Widely recognised for his contributions, Mr. Jenkins is an Officer of the Order of Canada and a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering, with numerous honours reflecting his impact across industry, academia, and national development.
