Event Overview:

• Hackathon Challenge: Design and prototype a platform that helps Caymanians map their lifestyle goals to career opportunities. Participants will have access to comprehensive job market datasets, everyday living costs, and other local economic insights to bring their vision to life. Whether you're a coder, designer, or problem solver, this is your opportunity to create something impactful for the future workforce of the Cayman Islands.
• Prize: US $5,000 Cash Prize
• Teams: Teams will be formed on the day of the event — no need to pre-select your team. Teams will consist of 2-5 people.
• Requirements: You’ll need to bring your own working computer and charger.
• Eligibility: All ages, all abilities welcome to compete for the cash prize. Participants must reside in the Cayman Islands.

To increase your chances of winning, the Cayman Islands Computer Science Society is offering the following sessions to provide valuable tips and guidance:

• Wednesday, 1 October 2025 - 5:30pm to 7:30pm - Hackathon Prep Session (Part 1)

• Wednesday, 8 October 2025 - 5:30pm to 7:30pm - Hackathon Prep Session (Part 2)
