FutureMe Cayman, created during the Tech Futures Week 2025 Hackathon Challenge, is a digital platform designed to help young Caymanians chart meaningful futures by starting with what truly matters, their dreams. Instead of forcing users to choose a career first and hope the lifestyle follows, this lifestyle-led career mapping app flips the model.
Combining local job market data, cost of living insights, and economic trends, the platform offers a simple and personal way to evaluate what opportunities exist, what qualifications are required, and what the projected quality of life outcomes are connected to each opportunity.
This is the future of career discovery — personal, intuitive, and built to empower and support Caymanian talent!

The platform began taking shape during the 2025 Tech Futures Hackathon Challenge on 11 October 2025 at Cayman Enterprise City’s (CEC) Signal House facility. During the event, produced by the Cayman Islands Computer Science Society (CICSS), Workforce Opportunities & Residency Cayman (WORC), and Enterprise Cayman, eight teams showed up to meet the challenge to design and prototype a digital platform that connects lifestyle aspirations with career opportunities and financial realities in the Cayman Islands.

During the planning for Tech Futures Week, teams from WORC, CEC, Enterprise Cayman and the CICSS met with the Hon. Minister Myles to map out the week’s goals. One of the key ideas that emerged was the creation of a practical tool that would live on beyond the event. That idea became what is now known as FutureMe Cayman, which launched on 9 December 2025. The platform is now available to the public thanks to the combined effort of everyone involved in this public-private partnership.
Having clear, data driven career insight available to Caymanians is essential to helping people make choices that genuinely support the lives they want to lead. This platform shows what’s possible when you start with personal goals and match them with real opportunities, giving young people and career changers a better understanding of where each pathway might take them.
Our aim is to empower Caymanians with tools that encourage confident, informed decisions about their future. By connecting lifestyle ambitions with training, careers, and tangible next steps, this platform supports a stronger, more adaptable workforce and helps Caymanians take the lead in sectors that continue to shape our islands’ long term prosperity.
