How do I apply?

Applications for The Incubator Programme are open. Apply Here. A non-refundable CI$100 (US$120) application fee is required at the time of submission to support programme administrative costs. Please note that travel is required for in-person events. Successful applicants will be notified by email.

What types of projects qualify?

Anyone with a strong and viable business idea may apply. Projects should be at the early-stage or growth stage of development and demonstrate potential for scalability, innovation, or meaningful market impact.

What is included in the programme's Curriculum?

The Incubator Programme is structured into four core learning blocks, designed to move founders from idea validation through to investor readiness.

Strategic Foundations. Participants validate their problem and solution, conduct market research, and refine their value proposition.

Go-to-Market & Sales. Founders develop customer acquisition strategies, build early traction, and establish repeatable sales processes.

Financial & Growth Strategy. Teams focus on financial planning, pricing strategy, and building sustainable revenue models.

Execution & Investor Readiness. Participants refine their business strategy, develop a compelling investor pitch, and prepare for the final demo presentation.

Throughout the programme, each team is paired with a dedicated mentor who provides guidance, feedback, and strategic support as the venture evolves.

Do I need to be in Grand Cayman for the duration of the incubator?

The incubator is delivered online-first over 14 weeks and includes in-person touchpoints in Grand Cayman (welcome retreat, launch event, pitch retreat, and final pitch event). At least one company representative must participate in required programme session in Grand Cayman - three days at the beginning of the programme, and three days at the end of the programme.

Are there opportunities for funding?

The programme culminates in a private Angel Investor Pitch Event, where participants will be invited to present their ventures to a curated audience and members of the Cayman Islands Investment Angel Society (CIIAS).

Through DMZ, participants may also benefit from exposure to a broader global network of investors, venture capital firms, and industry advisors.

While funding is not guaranteed, the programme is designed to help founders build investor-ready ventures and expand their access to potential funding opportunities.
