Join us for a CyberSandbox discussion on the story behind the TechKYouth 2024 Cayman Youth Tech Conference and Hackathon. Event speakers, Rhonda and Kathryn, will share a short presentation on how they have been creating programs to accelerate intentional communities of learning together, and empowering and engaging youth in an era of accelerating technologies. 

The 2024 Cayman Youth Tech Conference and Hackathon, produced by TechKYouth, is a free two-day event designed to ignite curiosity and innovation in the fields of technology and digital solutions. The event provides an excellent opportunity for young Caymanian minds to learn, collaborate, and compete in a supportive environment.

About Speakers 

Kathryn Corkish is a Co-Founding Catalyst of the TechKYouth 2024 Conference and Hackathon. Kathryn is a dedicated blockchain enthusiast and educator with significant achievements in the blockchain space, including completing the 2021 Consensys Blockchain Bootcamp and being selected as a Devcon IV Scholar. She made a notable impact at the Youth Blockchain Conference in the Bahamas, serving as a Solidity mentor and speaker for three years in a row. With a proven track record in blockchain education and development, Kathryn continues to mentor and inspire the next generation of blockchain developers.

Rhonda McDeigan-Eldridge is a chartered accountant with 30+ years' experience in alternative investments space spanning chief financial office, head of operations to country and regional managing director roles, pivoting to fintech, blockchain, and digital assets in recent years. She is passionate about social impact as founder of Harness All Possibilities and Blockchain Business School, and Director on the Global Board of Help for Children. She leads the design team for TechKYouth 2024 Conference and Hackathon.
