Join us for a high-impact hackathon where creativity meets purpose. Work alongside fellow innovators to tackle real challenges, develop meaningful solutions and help enhance FutureMe Cayman, the lifestyle-led career mapping app built to empower Caymanian talent.

Event Overview:

• Hackathon Focus: Design and prototype an engaging career discovery experience for young Caymanians. Each team will be assigned a specific challenge within the wider FutureMe experience, allowing participants to explore different aspects of the career discovery journey while working towards a shared goal. 
• The Challenge: How might we help young people in the Cayman Islands better understand themselves and discover career pathways that align with their interests, strengths and aspirations, while giving parents and educators the tools to support their decisions? 
• Judging: Teams will be evaluated on the quality and relevance of their concept, creativity, user experience and its potential to be incorporated into FutureMe Cayman. 
• Prize: US $5,000 Cash Prize
• Teams: Teams will be formed on the day of the event, so there is no need to select your team in advance. Teams will consist of two to five people. 
  
• Requirements: You’ll need to bring your own working computer and charger.
• Eligibility: All ages, all abilities welcome to compete for the cash prize. Participants must reside in the Cayman Islands.

To increase your chances of winning, the Cayman Islands Computer Science Society is offering the following sessions to provide valuable tips and guidance:
