Marketing Coordinator (Content Focus)
Job Description
Location: Cayman Islands, Full Time
Cayman Enterprise City (CEC) is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator with a strong focus on content development to support their non-profit organisation, Enterprise Cayman. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with experience in writing, project management, media, journalism, digital content creation, or similar fields who are excited to help showcase the impact of Enterprise Cayman’s innovative programmes and community initiatives.
CEC is looking for someone who has excellent communication skills, enjoys storytelling through multiple media formats, and can manage a variety of marketing tasks simultaneously. The ideal candidate is proactive, organised, and able to create engaging content that resonates with Cayman’s diverse community.
Working Relationships
The Employee will work across all CEC departments and report directly to CEC’s Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer. The post holder will be required to work directly with several individuals including CEC staff, CEC community members, partner organisations, vendors, and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Creative Production
- Develop high-quality written content including social media posts, website copy, newsletters, press releases, programme descriptions, and other promotional materials.
- Capture and edit event and promotional photography to support digital and print marketing assets.
- Assist in designing visual assets such as graphics, presentations, reports, social tiles, and digital campaigns.
- Produce and repurpose multimedia content across various platforms to increase public awareness and engagement.
Social Media & Digital Communications
- Manage Enterprise Cayman social media channels: content planning, posting, scheduling, monitoring, and community engagement.
- Respond to messages, comments, and public enquiries in a timely, professional manner.
- Track analytics and provide insights to help grow digital reach and engagement.
- Update and maintain the Enterprise Cayman website, ensuring content is current, accurate, and aligned with brand guidelines.
Copywriting & Public Relations
- Write clear, compelling copy for marketing campaigns, partner communications, feature stories, and community updates.
- Draft and distribute press releases, maintaining relationships with media outlets and community partners.
- Ensure all written communications uphold Enterprise Cayman’s voice and standards.
Project Coordination
- Assist with managing marketing projects, advertising, timelines, stakeholder communication, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with CEC departments, partner organisations, vendors, and community members.
- Maintain organised digital files, content libraries, contact lists, and campaign tracking documents.
Secondary Responsibilities
While this role is content-focused, the coordinator will also:
- Support Enterprise Cayman events, including on-site assistance and administration, in addition to photography, and promotional coverage.
- Support CEC’s broader marketing campaigns, websites, and content development initiatives.
Required Skills & Attributes
- Excellent writing ability must be a confident and capable copywriter.
- Strong digital skills with a demonstrated ability to self-learn new tools and platforms.
- Familiarity with basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
- Creative thinker with a good eye for visual detail, photography, and design.
- Experience in social media management and digital content creation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Comfortable engaging with the public and representing Enterprise Cayman professionally.
- The ability to cope well under pressure, act with the required urgency for time sensitive tasks, and multitask.
- Must be willing to work evening events and occasional weekends.
- The desire to be proactive and create positive experiences for others.
Preferred Background
Direct marketing experience is not required. We welcome candidates with experience in:
- Media or journalism
- Project management
- Communications
- Creative arts or digital media
- Community outreach
- Internship or volunteer content roles
Education & Experience
- Associate’s Degree is preferred, but not required.
- 1-2 years demonstrable administrative experience (including internships, student media, volunteer work, or project-based experience).
- 15 vacation days.
